Camp Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City – October 29, 2021
Brig. Gen. Romulo Manuel Jr., Regiment Commander of the Army Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army and Coast Guard Vice Admiral Leopoldo Laroya, Commandant of the Philippine Coast Guard visited the Western Mindanao Command on October 27, 2021.
The two separately paid a courtesy call on WestMinCom Commander Maj. Gen. Alfredo Rosario, Jr. at Camp Navarro, Calarian, this city. Foyer Honors was rendered to the distinguished visitors during their respective arrival.
They were then individually received by Maj. Gen. Rosario, Jr. at the Laong Laan Hall of the command. The two expressed their elation for the opportunity to get acquainted with the WestMinCom Commander.
“I am grateful for the overwhelming support I receive from my comrades-in-arms and fellow law enforcers. I am happy that we are able to establish a good relationship as we continue to perform our duties as public servants amid the COVID-19 pandemic,” Maj. Gen. Rosario, Jr. stated.
Brig. Gen. Manuel, Jr. will grace the anniversary of the 8th Field Artillery Battalion in Sulu on October 29 while Vice Admiral Laroya will preside the inauguration of the Coast Guard Special Operations Group-Southwestern Mindanao Building and the groundbreaking of the Coast Guard Regional Training Center in this city on October 28 to 29.
