Former Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) governor Nur Misuari has asked the Sandiganbayan 3rd Division to return his P920,000 travel bond.
The founding chairman of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) sought his travel bond which he posted for his recent travel to Saudi Arabia.
In his manifestation, Misuari explained to the anti-graft court he has no plan of going abroad in the foreseeable future.”
Misuari is facing before the court two counts of graft and two counts of malversation through falsification.
Under the charges, he is accused of being allegedly involved inanomalous purchase of educational materials from 2000 to 2001 when he was still ARMM governor.
