Brigadier General Ramon Evan T. Ruiz, the new Commander of the 55th Engineering Brigade (55EBde) paid a courtesy call to WestMinCom Chief Lieutenant General Arnel B. Dela Vega at the Headquarters, Western Mindanao Command 8:30 am today (April 5).
BGen Ruiz was welcomed with a traditional military honors by the officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian employees of the command.
He was then received by LtGen Dela Vega and his staff at the Laong Laan Hall of the Command.
Prior to his current designation, BGen Ruiz was the commander of the 53rd EBde whereby he was replaced by Colonel Joselyn R. Bandarlipe, the 1st female officer to lead a Philippine Army Brigade.
