From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Nov 29): GOODWILL VISIT | Japanese Destroyer visits the Philippines
NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Roxas Blvd., Manila (DWDD) – The Japan Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) vessel JS ONAMI (DD-111), an anti-submarine Destroyer that arrived in Manila on November 26 for a two-day goodwill visit and replenishment of supply from a mission in the ASEAN International Fleet Review has departed towards its homeport.
Philippine Navy (PN) vessel BRP Rajah Humabon (PF11) rendered customary meeting procedures at Corregidor Island and escorted the vessels to its designated anchorage area at in ints departure yesterday.
PN representatives accorded the visiting navy a welcome ceremony upon arrival followed by a port briefing related to health and security aboard JS ONAMI and has conducted various activities. NPAO/MCAG
