The Philippine Navy is getting the support of Manila City government for its recruitment drive. “The Philippine Navy (PN) on Thursday, January 26, signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) together with the city government of Manila in the efforts of recruiting more personnel to join its rank in a simple ceremony at Manila City Hall,” the Philippine Navy said.
Navy Flag-Officer-In-Command Vice Admiral Ronald Joseph S. Mercado and Mayor Joseph E. Estrada inked the agreement representing the Navy and Manila City government, respectively.
The Navy earlier signed similar agreement with Adamson University, Mapua Institute of Technology, Technological University of the Philippines, and the local government of Quezon City.
“The PN is committed to gain technically-inclined and skilled personnel to further enhance its core of professionals and attain its vision of a strong and credible Navy that our maritime nation can be proud of,” the Philippine Navy said.
