The PNP Chief said that will ordered to intensify the internal cleansing efforts within the PNP will be relentless and that corrupt police officials will be eliminated.

”Change is happening around us, it must start in every police officer, tapusin na natin ang mga masasayang araw ng mga abusadong pulis. Tanggalin na natin ang mga scalawags sa PNP, as we have all seen number of policemen have been found to be users or pushers of illegal drugs and protectors of illegal drug personalities. Nilalabag nila ang batas at hinihiya pa ang kapulisan. They have no place in our organization.

Each unit and office has its PCO and PNCO Promotion Board who processed the applications of those who are qualified for Permanent Appointment to the next higher ranks.

Simultaneous oath-taking ceremonies were held in all Police Regional Offices around the country.
