Department of National Defense (DND) Undersecretary for
Civil, Veterans and Retirees Affairs Eduardo Batac has resigned for health and
personal reasons.
This was disclosed on Sunday by DND Public Affairs Office
chief Arsenio Andolong who said that prior to his resignation, Batac has been
on leave.
Andolong added that the letter of resignation was already
received by DND Secretary Voltaire Gazmin.
Batac's post will be handled temporarily by DND
Undersecretary Honorio Azcueta.
