Kalinaw Sarangani Unit (KSU), a small organization under the Office of the Provincial Governor of Sarangani spearheads the information dissemination of the recently inked GPH-MILF Framework for the Bangsamoro in various communities of the province. The initiative which started on October 28, 2012 and still continues to date is being aimed to educate the constituents of Sarangani on the prospects of the framework accord and provide substantial information on the progress of the GPH-MILF Peace Process. The Associations of Barangay Chairmen of Alabel, Kiamba, Glan, Malapatan and Maasim and the Madaris facilitators of the province were the initial groups which were oriented on the framework agreement. Sectoral representatives and key community leaders of Barangays Mindupok in Maitum, Kapate in Kiamba, Lumasal in Maasim, Tokawal in Alabel and Taluya in Glan, were also the audiences of the information drive. Other barangays and groups in the province are waiting for the undertaking to reach their places. Local MILF representatives are invited to share their knowledge on the framework agreement. They also answer questions from the audience during open forum. KSU explains to the audiences the contents of the framework agreement. Representatives from GPH-MILF International Monitoring Team (IMT) Site 4 and the Local Monitoring Team (LMT) – Sarangani partake in the information drive. They share to the audiences their participation in the peace process.....
