MALAGOS, Baguio District, Davao City- to produce more entreprenuers in the country the DOLE head by Mrs. Erlinda Mamitag, MAGSIGE-MPC Chief Executive Officer Mr. Agripino L. Torres, Philippine Fiber Industry Development Agency represented by Mr Filinio Tagalog Cosare, Fiber Development Officer Il and the 3rd Infantry (Regardless of What) Battalion, 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division under the leadership of Lt. Colonel Juvenal Mark T Tayamen launches a two (2) days Skills Enhancement on Abaca Production and Financial Literacy Training the members of Bagobo Klata Farmers Association (BKFA) with twenty two (22) participants starting from September 08-09, 2020 at MAGSIGE-MPC Building, Calinan Poblacion, Calinan District, Davao City.

As a brief history, the BKFA was organized during the conduct of Community Support Program (CSP) under 3IB. All members of the association were decieved by the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) with their lies that the government is not their to help them because they are only an Indigenous People (IP) and the only way to defeat poverty is to bear arms and fight the government with them.
With this, the 3IB together with other Government and Non-Government agencies, joint efforts to conduct different interventions, programs and projects to support the community who are victims of CTGs black propaganda.

This program will help enhance, boost and strengthen the business capability of every Davaoeno Abaca Growers in terms of abaca production. The training will tackle about new techniques and technologies in abaca farming and will also develop their financial management skill. With the farming and financial skills provided, rest assured that there will more progressive and more productive abaca production in the whole country and soon will reach the export industry.

“Your 3IB, the government and non-government institutions will always be in your side to help you, their will always be peace and developement when we are together with this fight. Let us learn and work together. Let this be our tools in the journey to peace and developement” Lt. Colonel Tayamen said.
