From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Aug 22): MURDER | NPAs kill unarmed soldiers in Camalig, Albay
CAMALIG, Albay (DWDD) – Members of the terrorist group New People’s Army (NPA) murdered two unarmed soldiers in Baranggay Panoypoy in Camalig, Albay.
According to Colonel Ferozaldo Paul Regencia, spokesperson, 902nd Infantry Brigade, five (5) Communist terrorist gunned-down two-unarmed soldiers, who were identified as PFC Consolacion and PFC Eclarinal, after playing basketball with some residents of the said brgy and members of the Community Support Team (CST) who were conducting community service in the area.
This is similar to the incident in Brgy Cambalidion in Libmanan, Sorsogon where they murdered an unarmed member of the Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) who was with his family at the time and was just fetching water when killed. AES
