NAVAL STATION CARLITO CUNANAN, Brgy Macarascas,Puerto Princesa City (DWDD) – Team NavForWest headed by its Commander, Commodore Rommel Jason L Galang AFP, in collaboration with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5 (NMCB5), Ospital ng Palawan Mobile Clinic Team, Philippine Red Cross, and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Office of the City Veterinarian, City Health Office, NavForWest Ladies Club, Brgy Officials of Brgy Santa Lourdes headed by Brgy Captain Edgar Esoy, 2018 Miss Kalayaan – Ms. Princess Jean Batalla and Jollibee Robinsons conducted MEDCAP/DENCAP, Feeding Program and Information Dissemination to the local populace of Brgy Sta. Lourdes at Santa Lourdes National High School.

The activity gained community support by bringing the indigenous and less privileged people of the Barangay closer to the government thus insulating them from the influence and exploitation of the Communist Terrorist Group. The activity also enhanced the Philippine Navy’s strong commitment as an active partner along with its stakeholders in bringing public service to the community. NFW / MCAG
