From the Philippine News Agency (Jan 22): AFP allocates Php26-M for repair of PAF Bell 412 helicopter

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is allocating the sum of Php26,720,550 for the acquisition of spare parts needed for the maintenance and repair of one of its Bell 412 combat utility helicopters.

Submission and opening of bids is on Feb. 2, at 9 a.m. PAF Procurement Center Conference Room, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

The PAF has around eight to 13 Bell 412 helicopters in its inventory.

The Bell 412 is capable of carrying 14 passengers and is capable of flying at a maximum speed of 140 knots (around 259 kilometers), cruise speed of 122 knots (226 kilometers per hour) and a range of 402 nautical miles (745 kilometers).

It is powered with an enhanced Pratt and Whitney PT6T-3D Twin Pac.
