A Philippine Army soldier was shot dead by an unknown
suspect at about 9:55 p.m. Monday on San
Juan St. Peñafrancia Avenue Naga City
Captain Mardjorie Paimela Panesa, public affairs officer of
the 9th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, identified the victim as Corporal
Erwin Ilarde, 36, married, a resident of the place and assigned with the 9ID.
Panesa said Ilarde was in front of his rented computer shop
when a suspect armed with a .45-caliber pistol shot him dead.
The Philippine Army is now coordinating with Naga City
Panesa said the 9ID will give benefits to the family of
Ilarde.
