From the Philippine Navy Website (Oct 28): Philippine Navy Joins U.S. Navy's "Project Handclasp"

Another community outreach activity of the US Navy dubbed as “Project Handclasp” received much needed assistance from Philippine Navy (PN) personnel. The activity was sponsored by United States Agency International Development (USAID) and was conducted at Barangay Doña Imelda, Quezon City last October 25, 2012. The Local Government of Quezon City and the Philippine National Police (PNP) were also among those who participated. Project Handclasp involved activities such as repainting of Kalayaan Health Center, basic hygiene session with children of Kalayaan Day Care Center, donation of hygiene products and sports equipments and basketball game with the residents of the said barangay. This community outreach activity is also a part of the George Washington Carrier Strike Group’s (GWCSG) 5 day goodwill visit which ran from October 24 to 29.
