From the Zamboanga Today (Oct 30): Peace partners readies 2012 Week of Peace
Anchored on the theme recently released by the Bishops Ulama Conference (BUC) dubbed “Love of God and Love of Neighbor: A Challenge for Mindanao”, the Interreligious Solidarity Movement for Peace (IRSMP) through Peace Advocates Zamboanga (PAZ) and Zamboanga Basilan Integrated Development Alliance (ZABIDA) and Youth Solidarity for Peace (YSP) adopted a new theme “Together for Sustainable Peace in Mindanao”. The Mindanao Week of Peace 2012, being a people’s celebration is spearheaded by the Multi-Sectoral partners Engagements through series of consultation and dialogues intended for the celebration of the Mindanao Week of Peace in Zamboanga City. Peace Partners readies the annual big celebration in Zamboanga City this forthcoming November 29-December 5, 2012. From the collaboration of partner organizations and institutions, the IRSMP, PAZ, ZABIDA and YSP spearheads this year’s celebration with meaningful engagements from various sectors of the society to include academe, religious, youth, business, government and civil society organizations, civic and peoples organizations....
