Four Marines who died in a clash with the Abu Sayyaf in Sulu on Sunday were accorded military honors on Tuesday. The remains of Sergeant Ricardo Nacario, Corporal Dexter John Baterina, Privates Allan Bercilla and Glenn Gapasin, which arrived in Manila earlier in the day, were taken to the Marine headquarters in Taguig City around 2 p.m. The four were from the troops of Marine Battalion Landing Team 6 that was sent to verify intelligence reports that kidnap victims had been seen in Barangay Bakong in Patikul town. In the clash, 13 other Marines were wounded and nine gunmen belonging to the Abu Sayyaf band led by Radullan Sahiron were slain. The wounded soldiers will be given commendations....
