Davao Norte Army brigade has new commander

From the Philippine News Agency (Oct 30): Davao Norte Army brigade has new commander

Newly-promoted Brig. Gen. Lysander Suerte is set to relinquish his post Wednesday morning as commander of the 1003rd Infantry Brigade under the 10th Infantry Division to Colonel Buenaventura Pascual in a turnover ceremony at the Brigade Headquarters located at Barangay Nueva Visayas, Sto. Tomas town here. Suerte, who was the brigade’s chief for almost two years, will be assigned as assistant division commander of the 3rd Infantry Division (ID) based in Panay, Iloilo. He was among the 23 senior military officers who were promoted last week. Among them were 10th ID commander Ariel Bernardo from Brigadier General to Major General and 1001st Brigade Commander Col. Roberto Domines Jr. to Brigadier General.... Buenaventura was formerly assigned with Task Force Zamboanga under the 1st Infantry Division. He was replaced by his classmate in the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 1984 Col. Glenn Macasero, who came from the 1001st IB....
