From the Philippine Information Agency (Oct 30): Army, DENR distribute land titles
The Alpha Company of the 11th Infantry (Lapu-Lapu) Battalion of the Philippine Army facilitated the “Handog Titulo Program” of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Moises Padilla town. The Lapu-Lapu troopers led by 1Lt. Von Ryan Gomez, in collaboration with the local government unit of Moises Padilla led by Vice Mayor Cepriano Remo and the representatives from the DENR distributed 25 land titles to farmer beneficiaries of Barangay Quinten Remo and Macagahay, of Moises Padilla in Negros Occidental. Through the united efforts of the government agencies, the needs, issues and concerns of the people were addressed especially those in the hinterland barangays, Remo said....
