Lt. Col. Isagani Nato, spokesperson of the NOLCOM, said that a classroom and two dental buses from NOLCOM and the provincial government of Ilocos Sur, which can cater two patients at a time per bus, were used for the dental services.
“The ‘barangay tanod’ and other municipal volunteers were trained on Humanitarian and Disaster Response (HADR) Training, Self-Defense, and first responders training," said Nato.
Aside from free haircut and free pictorials in a photo booth, he said that gift giving, distribution of school supplies, books for the three libraries, face painting, and food cart services were likewise held.
Simultaneous with the other activities, a peace and order consultative meeting was conducted to discuss related matters on safety and security of the communities against local threats.
