CAMP MELCHOR F DELA CRUZ, Gamu, Isabela (DWDD) – The 5th Infantry Star Division (5ID) has formally activated the 95th Infantry Batallion.

According to Major Genenral Perfecto Rimando, Comamnder, 5ID, the battalions activation is based on the recommendation of the Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines Gen Rey Leonardo Guerrero and was approved by the Department of National Defense.

MGen Rimando added that the newly-activated batallion wold forst undergo organizational formation training before they are sent out and help in the fioght against insurgency. 5ID / MCAG
