From the Sun Star-Zamboanga (Mar 6): Police arrest killer of 2 marines
POLICE authorities have arrested a person tagged as the killer of two Marine soldiers in the province of Sulu, a top military official said Sunday.
Brigadier General Alan Arrojado, Joint Task Group Sulu commander, identified the arrested person as Abraham Jalan, a resident of Sitio Lahi in the village of San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu.
Jalan was nabbed around 10:20 p.m. Saturday at his residence in the village of San Raymundo, Jolo. He has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of double murder issued by the court, said Arrojado.
Jalan is also allegedly involved in the recent killing of two personnel of the Philippine Marines in Sulu, Arrojado added.
