A travel agency owner formally turned over several boxes of
books and educational toys to the Zamboanga City-based Western Mindanao Command
on Tuesday.
These items are for the use and benefit of the children
enrolled at the Camp Navarro Early Childhood Care and Development Center in
Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City, Western Mindanao Command head Lt. Gen. Rustico
Guerrero said.
He added that Jonathan Wee, Ticket 1 proprietor, donated the
books and stuffed toys as part of the travel agency’s advocacy, dubbed as the
“Give a Book, Share a Toy” project.
Guerrero thanked Wee, saying these items can help in the
children's education and development.
