After several delays, President Aquino will finally submit the draft Bangsamoro Basic Law to Congress on Wednesday.
Aquino, who will certify the measure as urgent, will host a ceremonial turnover at the Palace.
"On Wednesday, there will be a turnover ceremony in Malacañang. The leaders and our expected champions in Congress will be going to Malacañang and the President himself has decided he will personally endorse the draft to Congress," Presidential Peace Adviser Teresita Deles said in an interview aired over state-run Radyo ng Bayan on Monday.
All members of the Bangsamoro Transition Commission signed the document on Sunday.
The original 97-page version of the draft was submitted by the BTC to the Palace, and the final draft underwent several revisions during marathon workshops between the peace panels of the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
