From the Philippine News Agency (Oct 17): PNP nabs Abu Sayyaf man with P3.3 million bounty

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday announced the arrest of another ranking commander of the terrorist Abu Sayyaf group (ASG), who carries P3.3 million bounty, in Central Mindanao. PNP Director General Nicanor Bartolome said that Sali Basal Taib, who uses the aliases Gonggong Sali and Abu Husni, was arrested near the Barangay Wal Primary School in Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat shortly before noon on Tuesday.... Taib is listed in the Department of Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) list of most wanted terrorist with P3.3-million reward offered for information leading to his arrest. Bartolome said a confidential informant provided the vital information that led to Taib’s arrest....
