Anim na mga kasapi ng teroristang BIFF na naman ang nagbalik-loob sa pamahalaan nitong Byernes ng hapon (Abril 21, 2023) sa Barangay Salunayan, Midsayap, Cotabato.Ayun kay Major General Alex Rillera, Commander ng 6ID at Joint Task Force Central, ang mga nagbalik-loob ay ipapatala sa programa ng gobyerno para sa kanilang integrasyon sa mainstream society.
“Ang mga kahanga-hangang tagumpay na ating nakamit sa kampanya laban sa terorismo at insurhensiya ay maaaring maiugnay sa mabuting pamamahala at matibay na pagtutulungan. Kaya naman, pananatilihin natin ang momentum na ito para makamit natin ang pangmatagalang kapayapaan na ating inaasam-asam. Idinadaan sa proseso ang mga nagbabalik-loob upang sila ay makatanggap ng benepisyo mula sa ating pamahalaan at di na muling bumalik pa sa maling paniniwala dulot ng mga mapanlinlang na grupo”, dagdag pa ni 6ID at JTF Central Commander Maj. Gen. Rillera.
Six BIFF members surrender in Cotabato Province
Six members of the BIFF terrorist returned to the government this Friday afternoon (April 21, 2023) in Barangay Salunayan, Midsayap, Cotabato.
According to Major General Alex Rillera, Commander of 6ID and Joint Task Force Central, the returnees will be enrolled in the government program for their integration into mainstream society.
“The remarkable achievements we have achieved in the campaign against terrorism and insurance can be tied to good governance and strong cooperation. That's why, let's keep this momentum going so that we can achieve the lasting peace we long for. Returnees are put through the process so that they can benefit from our government and not go back to the misbelief caused by fraudulent groups”, added 6ID and JTF Central Commander Maj. Gen. Rillera.
