MARAMAG, Bukidnon – 19 June 2020, Guerilla Front Malayag, Southern Regional Command 2 (SRC2), North Central Mindanao Regional Command (NCMRC) burned two heavy equipment at Barangay Sinabuagan, Valencia City Bukidnon at around 11 o’clock in the evening.
Based on the report, more or less 10 members of Guerilla Front Malayag burned one (1) Unit Dump Truck and (1) Pay Loader owned by Frederic Butal. This was a proof of their desperate move to extort money from the quarry operator.
This unit immediately conducted pursuit operation after receiving the incident report and coordinated with PNP to gather relevant information in preparation for the filing of a case against GF Malayag through the CTF ELCAC of Valencia City, Bukidnon.
Last June 1, 2020, the group of Guerilla Front Malayag threw a grenade to the PNP Cabanglasan checkpoint in Brgy Caboluhan and also land mined a PNP vehicle the next day that resulted in the damage of the said vehicle. These violent activities of the group are proofs of a desperate act because of the presence of Government forces in the area.

They burned equipment that has never been used and utilized in any military operations. This is another solid proof that the Communist Terrorist Group (CTGs) does not follow IHL and disrespecting the Comprehensive Agreement on Respect for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law (CARHRIHL) or the signed document by the Government and the CPP.
