Jose Maria Sison propaganda statement posted to the National Democratic Front Philippibes (NDFP or NDF) Website (Jan 25, 2020): On Duterte blaming the revolutionary response of the people to intolerable oppression and exploitation
By Jose Maria Sison, NDFP Chief Political Consultant
Duterte is wrong in blaming the revolutionary movement movement for the gross underdevelopment of the Philippines, widespread unemployment and mass poverty. The revolutionary movement is the consequence of and response to the extreme oppression and exploitation suffered by the people under the semicolonial and semifeudal system represented by Duterte.
Presidents from Marcos to Duterte have been the worst. It is during the time of the most brutal and corrupt presidents like Marcos and Duterte that imperialist powers and the semicolonial and semifeudal ruling system of big compradors, landlords and corrupt officials oppress and exploit the people the most and make them suffer so intolerably that the armed revolutionary movement grows so rapidly.
More of Duterte’s tyranny and corruption the stronger the people’s democratic revolution shall become under the leadership of the CPP. Unwittingly, Duterte is indeed the best recruiter and the best transport and supply officer of the New People’s Army. He is the one who has terminated the GRP-NDFP peace negotiations to please US imperialism and have the pretext for running a de facto fascist dictatorship like Marcos.
