WESTMINCOM: 54th Engineer Brigade celebrates its 28th anniversary

Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana, commander of Western Mindanao Command, graced the 28thanniversary celebration of the 54th Engineer Brigade in this city today, August 12.

Lt. Gen Sobejana lauded the army engineers for the brigade’s feats that contributed to the mission accomplishment of WestMinCom, especially in aiding the rehabilitation of Marawi City.



“You have been instrumental in the completion of several infrastructure projects within conflict-affected areas and geographically disadvantaged areas,” he said.



“Through effective stakeholder engagement, you have done not only your share but exceed what was expected of you,” he added.

The WestMinCom chief led the inauguration of a mosque inside the 54th EBde’s headquarters in Cabatangan, this city.
