Two officials of the Philippine Navy and an Army officer were critically injured after their car fell into a ravine in Tagkawayan, Quezon early Tuesday.
Police identified the victims as Navy officials Alfonso Lanzuela and Gretchen Diosay and Army officer Mark Anthony Lanzuela.
The victims suffered head and body injuries due to the fall. They were rushed to the Tagkawayan District Hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Naga City.
The victim's were on board a Honda Civic when it fell into a 10- to 15-foot ravine along Quirino Highway in Barangay Rizal, Tagkawayan town at around 5 a.m.
They came from Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City and were bound for Camarines Sur when the accident happened.
Local police said the area is accident prone.
Police are investigating the incident.
