From ABS-CBN (Dec 29): 2 intel soldiers shot dead in Marawi
LANAO DEL SUR - Two soldiers were gunned down by two men on board a motorcycle in Pangarungan, Marawi City on Tuesday.
The victims, who were identified as Sgt. John Bernas Saballe and Private First Class Sofronio Saliling Grame Jr., sustained gunshot wounds in the head.
Both were intelligence personnel of the Army's 65th Infantry Battalion based in the adjoining town of Saguiaran.
Authorities have launched a hot pursuit operation against the suspects.
