ODIONGAN, Romblon, Peb. 20 (PIA) -- Tumungo ng Barangay Victoria, San Andres, Romblon ang mga miyembro ng Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) noong Pebrero 16, upang bisitahin ang mga residente sa lugar at mamigay ng kaunting tulong.
Kabilang sa mga national agency na sumama sa tinawag nilang Project Buligan (na ang ibig sabihin ay 'Tulungan' sa Tagalog), ay Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority o TESDA, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at mga opisyal ng bayan ng San Andres at ng probinsya ng Romblon.
Sa nasabing Project Buligan, kinausap ng personal ng mga miyembro ng PTF ELCAC ang mga residente sa lugar upang alamin ang kanilang pangangailangan sa kanilang barangay.
Namahagi rin sila ng mga hygiene kits, relief goods at facemasks na kaloob ng Romblon National Institute of Technology (RNIT).
Ang Project Buligan ay isang programa na binuo ng PTF ELCAC ng Romblon bilang tugon sa Executive Order 70 ni Pangulong Duterte. (PJF/PIA-Mimaropa)
