The Philippine Army has scheduled the conduct of a two-day
orientation seminar about the Army’s Transformation Roadmap (ATR) for the media
practitioners of this province.
The seminar is scheduled to be held from Thursday until
Friday at the officers’ clubhouse of the Army’s 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division
in Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
Invited to attend the two-day seminar are the members of the
Misamis Occidental Army-PNP Press Corps (MOAPHIL).
Lt. Col. Audie Mongao, 1st Infantry Division public affairs
officer, said the orientation-seminar is intended to develop a pool of media
practitioners to advocate the Army’s Transformation Roadmap.
Mongao said that Maj. Gen. Gerardo Barrientos, 1st Infantry
Division commander, will tackle his administration’s performance measures and
target; stakeholders support perspective; finance and logistics perspective;
internal process prospective; human resource perspective; and, constituency
perspective.
He said the resource speakers in the two-day seminar will
include from the Army Governance Strategic Management Office (AGSMO) and from
the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations.
