Army donates trash cans in Brigada Eskwela in Ormoc City

From the Philippine News Agency (May 19): Army donates trash cans in Brigada Eskwela in Ormoc City

The 802nd brigade of the Philippine Army (PA) showed their support to the Brigada Eskwela spearheaded by the Department of Education (DepEd) by donating trash cans.

Brigade commander, Col. Dinoh Dolina said that the donation would help recipient schools manage their garbage.

Two drums were provided each to the New Ormoc City National High School, Ipil National High School and Curva National High School.

Aside from trash can donations, the government troops also flexed their arms along with several other all-time supportive stakeholders of Deped Ormoc City Division as they assist in various activities in line with the Brigada Eskwela held in these schools.

The soldiers played great role for fast recovery following the devastation brought by super typhoon 'Yolanda.' And they do not only combat for peace and protection against insurgency but they also go frontlines in backing the community during various occurrences, calamities and events, said Dolina.
