MAGPET, COTABATO- Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in partnership with 72 Infantry Battalion launched “Project TALA” (TESDA Alay ay Liwanag at Asenso) on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.









In line with the Agency’s celebration of its 26th Founding Anniversary with the theme, “TESDA Bringing Hope in times of Crisis” the activity was highlighted with a Ceremonial Lighting of Project TALA using a solar power system that will be distributed to training scholars of the said project, the distribution of 100 rice packages to its training scholars, other training programs and also 50 packages fo the IP families. Moreover, a Ceremonial Tree Planting of 50 Narra trees showing their active advocacy for the National Greening Program.

The activity was graced by the Provincial Director of TESDA Cotabato, Director Norayah M. Ampang-Acas; Hon. Roldan Pelonio, Brgy Captain of Manobo, Mr. Gaspar Llenos, Provincial Project Coordinator; and Ms. Jocelyn A. Tardo, Community Training and Employment Coordinator of Magpet were also present during the said activity.

During the program, Cpt. Dominic Fenis, Operations Officer, 72IB in behalf of Lt. Col. Rey T. Alvarado, Commanding Officer, 72IB, said in his message “The 72IB will give its full commitment to support the Programs and Trainings of our government. Your army unit is here to maintain peace and support any development initiative of your barangay.”
