Kalinaw News: Army reservists in Aurora Province recognize by Army’s 91IB

Posted to Kalinaw News (Jun 25, 2020): Army reservists in Aurora Province recognize by Army’s 91IB (By 91st Infantry (Sinagtala) Battalion)



Fort Ramon Magsaysay,Nueva Ecija – With the effort portrayed during the implementation of community quarantine, the 91st Infantry (Sinagtala) Battalion recognized the reservists personnel of 307th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (30RRIBn), 307th Community Defense Center, 3rd Regional Community Defense Group, Army Reserve Command at its Headquarters in Barangay Calabuanan, Baler, Aurora on 20 June 2020.

Lieutenant Colonel Reandrew P. Rubio, Commanding Officer, 91IB handed the Certificates of Appreciation and Letters of Commendation to Major Eleanor M. Prado, Battalion Commander of 307RRIBn during the ceremony.

The said reserve battalion was one of the partners of the 91IB in conducting checkpoint operation, repacking and distributing relief goods, mobile patrolling, and other humanitarian assistance activities.

Colonel Andrew D. Costelo, the Commander of the Army’s 703rd Agila Brigade that covers Aurora as part of its area of operation, lauded the reservist in Aurora who answered the call of duty, even without pay and allowance. That notwithstanding their lack of personal comfort, they proved their willingness to serve and sacrifice for the sake of the country.”

“It is just fitting that the reservists will be recognized of their active participation in the implementation of Executive Orders from the Local Chief Executives of Aurora from Provincial down to Municipal level,” said Lieutenant Colonel Rubio in greatly appreciating the services rendered and dedication shown by the reservists who are unmindful of their personal safety just to serve the people of Aurora and prevent COVID-19 from spreading

Expressing her appreciation and gratitude to the 91IB’s assistance during their tour of duty, Major Prado said, “I would like to express my gratefulness to 91IB, for the orientation prior to our deployment, as well as the Personal Protective Equipment, and other logistical support given to us throughout the duration of our duty.”
