KUTA HEN TEOFILO BAUTISTA, Jolo, Sulu (DWDD) - Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Noel Clement visits the headquarters of the 11th Infantry “Alakdan” Division at Kuta Heneral Teofilo Bautista, Barangay Busbus, Jolo, Sulu.
The AFP Chief of Staff was welcomed with military honors led by the commander of the 11th Infantry Division, Major General Corleto Vinluan Jr.
A "Talk to Troops" concluded General Clement’s visit where he personally talked to the officers and enlisted personnel of the 11th ID. The talk boosted the morale of the troops to sustain the ongoing operations in order to uphold peace and development in Jolo, Sulu.
General Clement emphasized that one of the most potent tools in the arsenal of the troops deployed in Jolo is the continued trust of peace-loving communities and stakeholders in that area. “Through this, we are able to sustain our earlier gains and draw closer in maintaining peace and development in the area".
