NPA supporters in Central Luzon surrender en masse
Major General Lenard T. Agustin, commander of the army’s 7th Infantry Division (7ID), made the announcement during the executive meeting of the members of the Joint Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF – ELCAC) in Diego Silang Hall, City of San Fernando, La Union on Thursday.
National Security Adviser Hermogenes C. Esperon Jr. and concurrent Cabinet Officer for Regional Development and Security (CORDS) for Region 1, presided over the meeting.
