DEPUTY SPOKESPERSON
APOLONIO MENDOZA COMMAND
NPA-QUEZON
NEW PEOPLE'S ARMY
NOVEMBER 10, 2019
The denial of SOLCOM-AFP regarding their casualties in the November 8, 2019 ambush by NPA-Quezon and their preposterous claim that blood was found in the NPA’s route of withdrawal, as reported by Philippine Daily Inquirer and other news outlet, is the real fake news. The SOLCOM’s reaction is the default template of AFP units when the NPA engage them in firefight. They can deny, but they can never hide the fact that five died and one seriously wounded from the government troops in the NPA ambush. A command detonated landmine was used by the NPA fighters instantly killing five soldiers and wounding another one while the NPA suffered no casualties.
The conflicting statement from the PNP-Quezon and SOLCOM-AFP will prove that the NPA-Quezon is telling the truth. It’s true that someone is lying about the ambush and definitely, it’s not the NPA but the AFP-PNP. It took no less than the SOLCOM’s Spokesperson, Lt. Col. Dennis Cana to admit that there was indeed an encounter in Lumutan, Gen. Nakar, Quezon, thereby demolishing PNP-Quezon’s claim that no NPA ambush took place. The eerie silence of the ever boisterous 2nd IDPA-AFP Spokesperson and 80th IB-PA Comander on the matter further proves that the NPA-Quezon is telling the truth. They know that once they denied that there were dead and wounded members of the battallion, itheir men will be further demoralized.
We pity the families of dead and wounded soldiers from the 80th IB-PA because its officers are denying them the truth on when and where their love ones died The AFP-PNP is lying on their face.
The truth shall set us free. No amount of AFP denial and fake news claim can cover-up the truth. The ambush that resulted to five dead and one seriously wounded government troops that happened last Friday, November 8, 2019 in Sitio Loveno, Lower Lumutan, Gen. Nakar, Quezon is the REAL NEWS while the AFP-PNP denial is the REAL FAKE NEWS.
