Captain Veloso Pier, Lapu-Lapu City- The Philippine Navy hosted this year's 22nd iteration of Maritime Training Activity of the Malaysian Navy and the Philippine Navy dubbed as MALPHI-LAUT 22/19 held at Naval Forces Central area of operations from August 05 to 09, 2019.
Philippine Fleet assets such as BRP APOLINARIO MABINI (PS36), BRP Salvador ABCEDE (PC114), one C90 Aircraft NV390 and Naval Special Operations Unit 5 participated in the activity. Meanwhile, the Malaysian Navy sent KD PERAK 173 and KD PARI 1530 with one team of Pasukah Khas Laut (PASKAL).
MTA MALPHI-LAUT is an annual bilateral maritime training between the Royal Malaysia Navy and the Philipine Navy to enhance both navies capability in conducting combined operations at sea through enhanced interoperability, and maritime cooperation. | The Philippine Fleet
