WESTMINCOM: Marine troops support sports activities in Sulu

Troops of the Marine Battalion Landing Team-3 join in the sports activities spearheaded by the municipal government of the 2nd District of Sulu.



Dubbed as the 2nd District Sulu Cup and Santos Cup 2019, the sports activities were formally opened on April 12, 2019 and was participated by the locals from the municipalities of Panamao, Panglima Estino, Kalingalan Caluang, and Luuk and the marine troopers from the different companies of the MBLT-3.



Anchored with the theme, “Building Camaraderie, Friendship and Unity through Sports”, the activities aimed at preventing individuals from usage of dangerous drugs and at deterring ASG influence through sports which build camaraderie, friendship and unity among people.
