An asset of the Philippine Army was shot to death in Barangay Laga-an, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
He was 49-year-old resident Crisanto Suelto, who sustained gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.

According to police investigation, he was on his way home when two unidentified gunmen peppered him with bullets around 4:53 p.m. on April 13.

Suelto was brought to the Calatrava District Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on a rrival.”

Officers of the Calatrava police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the incident.
