CAMP MATEO CAPINPIN, Tanay, Rizal (DWDD) – The 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division under Major General Rhoderick M Parayno AFP, Commander, 2ID, conducted the opening ceremony of Jungle Warfare and Mountain Operations Course (JWMOC) Class 532-2018 at 2nd Division Training School (2DTS) view deck on September 18, 2018.
Colonel Marceliano V Teofilo, Chief of Staff, 2ID, and the Keynote Speaker, declared the opening of JWMOC of the 240 new privates. He urged them to do well in their training for them to surpass the hardships in the field and become good followers and servant leaders.
The 234 males and 6 females have successfully completed the four (4) months rigid Candidate Soldier Course and will now undergo another 45 days of JWMOC training to reinforce their skills in warfighting and jungle warfare prior to their deployment. 2DPAO / MCAG
