BASA AIRBASE, Floridablanca, Pampanga (DWDD) – The Philippine Air Force 355th Aviation Engineer Wing held the Closing Ceremony of the Tile Setting Training Seminar conducted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) on September 20, 2018 with the 355h AEW Wing Commander, Brigadier General Joselito F Maclan AFP as the presiding officer.
The aforementioned seminar was an eleven (11) days training workshop which consist of lectures, classroom discussions, actual work demonstrations culminated by both oral and practical examinations wherein a total of seventy-seven (77) Enlisted Personnel attended and were active during the said workshop.
The TESDA formally present upon them the National Certificate II Qualification Rating which aims to enhance the degree of workmanship of these personnel in performing By-Admin and in supervising By-Contract Projects. Thus, living to that high standard of saying “Hindi Pwede Yung Pwede Na; Dapat Pwedeng-Pwede Na Talaga”. By this effort, all the attendees are now expected to really maximize their meager repair budget without sacrificing the desired quality of work.
Moreover, an awarding ceremony was also conducted during the event to recognize outstanding attendees who have shown excellent work all throughout the rest of the workshop. The top 3 students were; TSg Paterno B Sazon Jr PAF; SSg Chito M Aguinaldo PAF; and, Sgt Mark Anthony D Lagajeno PAF all from 355th AEW.
