From the Philippine News Agency (Nov 16): PA to learn from other ASEAN nations how they train their soldiers
The Philippine Army (PA) will get a clearer picture on how its neighbors train their soldiers as it will host this year's ASEAN Chief of Army Multilateral Meeting from December 4 to 8.
Army spokesperson Col. Benjamin Hao in a message to the PNA Tuesday.
Other possible topics that might be discussed during the four-day meet are areas of common security concerns and closer coordination, and disaster response initiatives, he added.
It is the meeting's 17th iteration and will be held at PICC Complex in Pasay City.
The 10 members states of the ASEAN includes Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia.
