THE DAVAO City Police Office has released a list containing names of 22 individuals suspected of being involved in terrorism.
The list was released to raise awareness on the part of the public as the city plays host to the thanksgiving party for the victory of incoming President Rodrigo R. Duterte in the latest presidential race.
At the AFP-PNP Press conference at Garden Oasis Ritz Hotel in Obrero, Chief Insp. Milgrace C. Driz, city police spokesperson, claimed those in the list were involved in bombing incidents as well as the kidnapping of three foreigners from the resort in the Island Garden City of Samal in September.
Included in the list are Abdul Nasser Ibrahim, Ustadz Isah, Kudri, Abu Said, Muawiyah alias Bombay, Muahmar Askali, Baran Gos, Nurhassan Jamiri, Omar-ma Group, Mudrimar Sawadjaan, Namjil Adjahari ,Mujapal Sawadjaan, Jannate Bin Hadjihassan alias Jannate, Abu Katab, Abtol Rahman alias Reza Abduhraman, Abu Akmad, Ustadz Pekre, Humamabadul Najid alias Wayda, Usman Hapids, Mocca Usman, Johan Amin Baco and Abu Bakkar Taib.
Driz said that the release of the list is an initiative to prevent these and other people in sowing terror during the event.
Any information on people acting suspiciously are requested to report to the hotline numbers 09258233276 and 0919-998-3386.
She also urged the public not to bring backpacks instead used transparent bags, deadly weapons and sharp objects during the party.
