FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City (DWDD) – The Philippine Army (PA) will be honoring three distinguished officials of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) with a Testimonial Parade, namely: Major General Benito Antonio Templo de León , AFP; Brigadier General Henry G Sabarre, AFP; and  Brigadier General Joselito Kakilala, AFP at the Philippine Army Parade Grounds in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

MGen De Leon is the Inspector General of the AFP. A Roman Catholic but was conferred the rare Muslim-Maranao honorary title of Sultan a Romapunut for his peace efforts. He was the former commander of the Philippine Army 5th Infantry Division.

BGen Sabarre is the acting Commander of the 7th Infantry Division based in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija. He was toe former Commander of the. 73rd Infantry “Agila” Brigade, also under the 7ID.

BGen Kakilala si the 34th Commander of the Civil Relatons Service, AFP; a member of the Philippine Military Class of 1984, and is set to retire this April. By AES / Photos by Felicia Longman, Rowie Adriatico and Princess Samiano-IDG.
