Five soldiers from the 46th Infantry Battalion were hurt following a New People's Army (NPA) improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Mabini town,
Capt. Rhyan Batchar, 10th Infantry Division public affairs office chief, said the incident took place 12:45 a.m. at Sitios Logdeck and Candinuyan, Barangay Golden Valley.
He added troops were on road security patrols when the NPAs suddenly detonated an IED, wounding five troopers.
