A group of young Muslim professionals wants to actively participate in the implementation of the framework peace agreement with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). In a statement, the Young Moro Professionals Network (YMPN), said they agree with President Aquino that “structural reform is needed for genuine autonomy and good governance in the south and this should be a collective effort.” “The Moro youth look forward to their participation and support to the process,” the group said. The YMPN has organized the MY (Moro Youth) Stand For Peace in Mindanao, a network of Muslim youth organizations, to mobilize, empower and unite the Filipino Muslim youth to become active participants in achieving peace and development in Mindanao through the peace process. A youth forum on the framework agreement will be held on Nov. 9 at the College of St. Benilde in Manila, the YMPN said....
