From the Philippine News Agency (Oct 29): AFP says no security threat for 'Undas' holidays

With All Saints' Day just two days away, the Armed Forces of the Philippines said on Monday it has not detected any threat that may disrupt the annual feast honoring all the saints. But despite this, Col. Arnulfo M. Burgos Jr., AFP spokesperson, said that they will intensify its intelligence-gathering efforts to ensure peaceful observance of the "Undas" holidays. “The AFP will not raise the military’s alert level status. However, it is up to the discretion of the different unified commanders depending on their assessment of the security situation in their respective areas,” he added....
