ASG-FREE DECLARED AT MUNICIPALITY OF PARANG, SULU
On August 25, 2023 at ACC Building, Brgy Poblacion, Parang, Sulu, the Municipality of Parang, Sulu was declared ASG-FREE and ready for further development by its LGU and MTF ELAC headed by Hon. Alkhadar T. Loong, Mayor of Parang, Sulu. The said declaration was attended by the Officers and men of 1101st Infantry “GAGANDILAN” Brigade headed by BGEN EUGENIO C BOQUIO PA, Commander, 1101st Brigade; COL YASSER R BARA MNSA (MI) PA, Deputy Brigade Commander: MILGO-Sulu represented by Ms Nashra Tulawie; Hji Zaldy Sadjail ELAC Member, Dr Abdurahman T Tangupon, MDRRMO, Parang, Sulu. Also present during the activity are the other partner stakeholders from the private and business sectors who extends their support to the LGU of Parang that made their dream possible.
The historic event was facilitated by the local government officials of Municipality of Parang under the stewardship of Hon. Alkhadar T. Loong and the 41st Infantry “Partner for Peace” Battalion led by LTC RAY N DE LIMA INF (GSC) PA.
The declaration of ASG-FREE municipality of Parang is the goal of fostering peace and ushering the opportunity to boost the eco-tourism and development in the said municipality.
